MAPAS is offering your child the free loan of an instrument subject to the following conditions.

- You will be responsible for the safe keeping of the instrument whilst it is on loan to you. 

- You/ Your child must be encouraged to treat the instrument with respect. It is for use in schools and in the home by the individual student only. Charges for repairs to damaged instruments caused by neglect will be passed on to the relevant responsible adult. 

- You/Your child must bring the instrument to every lesson in order that you/they might participate fully. This is a condition of accepting the loan of an instrument. 

- The instrument will be allocated to you/your child for the duration of your MAPAS lessons (unless you need to change instrument size or similar)

- The instrument remains the property of Music and Performing Arts Salford at all times. 

- The instrument may be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of the Head of Service.
